Our giving is an act of worship for the sustainability of God's church. We are dedicated to impacting the lives of those in our community through the unmatched experience of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Your generosity helps us make a difference, and our collective action promotes the spread of the Gospel.
"Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:7
The most precious gift God has given to us is time. Commit to consistent service as the church and community's needs grow and evolve.
God has uniquely gifted each believer. Discover your gifts and offer them back to God in service to his Kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven!
Let's face the facts: it takes money to do ministry. God takes what we have and multiplies it for his purpose. Give freely, cheerfully, and regularly a portion of what God has given to you, and the church will have what it needs to serve well.
Obedience is indeed better than sacrifices (1 Samuel 15:22). Scripture teaches us that if we perform the right rituals, but have the wrong heart, we have not honored God or our neighbor. But when we pair the right heart (righteousness) together with the right attitude toward giving, much can be accomplished for the Lord with our resources.
Biblical stewardship requires our making proper use of the resources which God has provided us. Tithing in the Old Testament was sacrificial obedience to God, acknowledgment of God, or thanks for God’s blessings or provision (Genesis 14:18-20; Genesis 28:12-22). Ten percent ("tithe") of the harvest was set aside for this purpose. In the New Testament, Jesus does expect sacrificial giving, as well as justice & mercy (Matt. 23:23).
Keyword: sacrificial. In short, we honor God in our giving by providing Him our best, rather than providing what's left. Sacrificial giving demonstrates that we honor all God's precepts, submit to Him all our resources and possessions, and trust that He will be God in every aspect of our lives.
In this sense, giving is as much an act of worship as any other element of our lives. So give God your best-- your best time, your best gifts-- and pair those gifts with a heart after God's own. The marker of our stewardship of God's gifts to us is our obedience, which is even greater than the sacrifices themselves. Keeping the church alive and functioning promotes the spread of the Gospel. Our giving is a way to honor the ultimate sacrificial gift Christ gave for us on the cross.
Generosity (right heart + right actions) will compel all of us to rejoice as the Apostle Paul did when he said "Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!" - 2 Corinthians 2:15
